WHAT IS AIRCRAFT INTERIORS EXPO?
‘AIX is the professional platform where airlines, designers, engineers, specifiers, and manufacturers come together to share, collaborate, and find practical and innovative solutions. The show is designed to support the global interiors community to create cabin concepts of the future, AIX brings together the widest range of products, ideas, and solutions in one definitive marketplace’.
THE JOURNEY
On Monday the 13th of June, Business Development Manager Joe Ferrett and Marketing Designer Aaron Lloyd flew out to Hamburg for the 2022 Aircraft Interiors Expo! This was Aaron’s first aviation show since joining the LJS family in March 2022, and it was a great introduction to the aviation industry. The show was held at the Hamburg Messe & Congress Centre, and ran from Tuesday the 14th of June to Thursday the 16th!
THE EVENT
After collecting our badges at the entrance hall and making our way towards the show, we were delighted to see so many visitors, clients, and representatives attending.
The show allowed visitors to keep up to date with the latest cabin design news and products. In essence, the show featured every product needed to create the ‘cabin of the future: from furnishing and galley equipment, to panelling and surfaces, seating, safety, and much more. There was something for everyone! The show was easy to navigate and featured some great stands, products, and services.
The show also featured the use of smart badges, a brilliant way of obtaining exhibitor information by simply tapping the QR code on your smart badge against the reader located at each stand. An innovative solution for tradeshows, and one which represents the continuous innovation within the aviation industry: it’s also one that helps the environment by cutting down the use of paper.
Thank you to both our existing and potential future customers for taking the time out of their busy schedules to meet with LJS. We held some very valuable discussions, and we are looking forward to building on these relationships in the coming weeks.
In summary, the show was outstanding! It had everything you needed in one location, the exhibitor stands looked stunning, and overall, it was a very well organised show.
